Anne B. Roberts
Annie Roberts started at Vent Haven Museum as a dummy cleaner at age 10 working for her aunt and curator, Dorothy Millure. Progressing from gopher to tour guide, she finally landed the position of curator in 1994 and served in that position for seven years during which the digital catalog of figures was inventoried and catalogued. All the pictures and figures in the original garage building, Building 2, were removed and the interior was painted for the first time since 1949. In 2001, Annie was invited to serve on the Board of Directors and currently still does; she also works as the Media Coordinator for the Vent Haven ConVENTion each summer. Although not a ventriloquist in any way, she has developed a passion for preserving, protecting and promoting the art of ventriloquism.
