Pete Michaels

Pete Michaels began his study of Ventriloquism at age 5 with Jimmy Nelson’s Instant Ventriloquism records and a Juro Danny O’Day. His first PRO figure, “Gitch” was custom made for him in 1979 by Alan Semok, and in 1980, he turned professional.  In 1981 he produced the FIRST Video Home Study Course on Ventriloquism titled: VIDEO VENTRILOQUISM.  Pete is a proud member of the Vent Haven Museum’s Advisory Board and was Chairman of the 1996 ConVENTion. He is a two-time recipient of the W.S. Berger Distinguished Service Award and was a Top 20 Finalist on America’s Got Talent. Television Appearances Include: America’s Got Talent, MTV Video Music Awards, Conan O’Brien, Comedy Central, Showtime At The Apollo, Comedy At Club 54, Let’s Laugh With Sherman Hemsley and many more.
