I know you know we've been raising money for about 18 months for our new facility. Nearly everyone reading this blog post has contributed to this challenge and we will continue to work together to make the new building a reality. Because you love Vent Haven, I know you'll be so excited to hear this great news...

Today we are celebrating a major milestone toward our goal of raising $1 million....

Drees Homes Foundation has awarded Vent Haven Museum a $200,000 grant!

We are so grateful to the Drees Homes Foundation for their incredibly generous gift to our project! Drees Homes is a Fort Mitchell based business and they chose us because we are a Northern Kentucky community-based endeavor that enriches the local landscape.

The credit for the legwork on this amazing achievement belongs to Vent Haven Museum Director Annie Roberts who arranged for the foundation members to come to the museum for a guided tour. As you know if you've been here, this place has to be seen to be believed. As evidenced by their amazing generosity, both the collection and Annie's enthusiasm and love for Vent Haven must have won the foundation members' hearts!

We are now more than halfway to our goal...in just 18 months! Can you believe it?! Thank you so much to all of you who have supported this campaign so far. We've got a ways to go, but this grant is a GIGANTIC leap forward!
